A Fun and Flexible small group tour [max4] starting with a drive across the stunning landscape that is Dartmoor for a short stroll up Haytor. The views are stunning. Then visit a very photogenic 1850 Granite Quarry. + many other Photo ops. Visit - Widecombe in the Moor, Dartmeet, and Hexworthy - beautiful locations. Leaving the Moors, travel back down to the lovely, unspoilt Devon Town of ASHBURTON. - Visit the Hound of Baskervilles Pub - also visit the numerous ANTIQUE Shops in this unspoiled, quaint town.
Then, following the River Dart and Buckfast Steam Train line to Dartington for a brief visit. (see the ‘Great Hall’ and beautiful Gardens) Then on to TOTNES, Time to visit the Museum, Guildhall and get a feel for this quaint & now regarded as an ‘alternative’ town.
