Itinerary
Day 1: London – Liverpool
Make your own way to Euston Station in London to board your train to Liverpool, home of the Beatles and one of the largest and most cosmopolitan cities in the north of England. After a journey of roughly 2.5 hours, arrive at Liverpool Lime Street Station, located near the UNESCO-listed Albert Dock where a vibrant collection of shops, art galleries and museums await.
It's just a 14-minute walk (or hail a cab) from the station to your accommodation, where you can drop off your luggage at hotel reception before checking in later. Then stroll to the prearranged meeting point for your 2-hour Magical Mystery tour of Liverpool’s Beatles-related sights by coach. Focusing on the lives of the fab four (George Harrison, Paul McCartney, John Lennon and Ringo Starr), the tour introduces many of the city landmarks that were linked to the popular English rock band. Hear fun gossip and trivia from the onboard commentary, and see the bandmates’ schools and birthplaces as well as sites that were named in well-known songs such as Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields Forever. Check in to your hotel after your tour ends, and spend the evening at your leisure, perhaps enjoying dinner at one of Liverpool’s many restaurants (own expense) or visiting the famous Cavern Club, the nightclub where the Beatles played their first performance in 1961. The Cavern Club is conveniently located adjacent to your hotel.

Day 2: Liverpool – London (B)
After a full English breakfast in your hotel, the morning and afternoon are yours to enjoy at your leisure. Admission to the Beatles Story exhibition is included with your package, so why not take a stroll to the Albert Dock to explore the museum? The Beatles-themed exhibition space is spread over two sites and offers insight to the life, culture and music of the rock band with interactive discovery zones as well as an impressive array of memorabilia and artifacts.
Alternatively, check out the shops; discover some of Liverpool’s other world-class museums such as the Maritime Museum, Tate North Art Gallery and the Museum of Liverpool; or pay a visit to Anfield Stadium, the home soccer ground of Liverpool Football Club. With the exception of the Beatles Story, entrance fees to any other attractions are at your own expense.
Collect your luggage from your hotel in plenty of time for you to make your own way to Liverpool Lime Street Station in the evening. Board your train, and then relax on the journey south to Euston Station in London where your overnight experience ends.
